We guarantee our work. That means if there is a serious problem with the cleaning we will return at the earliest possible moment and correct the problem. We must however, be made aware of the problem no later than 8 o'clock the morning following the cleaning. Our goal is to keep our customers satisfied. That is why we value any comments and feedback that you may have. In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with our service, we'll come back at our expense.
Team:
We normally work in teams of two depending on the size of your home, one of the team members is the captain. We try to keep the same team coming to your home each visit, but we cannot guarantee it. Illness, promotions, vacation schedule etc. All could result in a change of team, or change of personnel on team.
Payment Policy:
Our pricing is based on full payment on the day of the cleaning. Payment by check, credit card or cash should be left on the kitchen counter or table for the team captain to pick up when the team arrives. Special invoicing arrangements may be made with our office prior to starting service. A surcharge of $10.00 per month is charged on past due accounts. A fee of $35 will be charged for each check returned by the bank. In the event an account requires legal or collection action customer agrees to pay all costs of collection without limitations for reasonable attorney fees, interest on past due amount and court costs.
Refunds:
Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with our service. Please see our 24hr guarantee if you are dissatisfied with your cleaning.
Arrival Time:
We cannot routinely guarantee a specific arrival time for our teams. Please allow us the flexibility of scheduling your cleaning between 7:30 and 5:30p.m. If you have a special occasion, work late nights or have medical reasons, call us and we'll make every effort to honor your special time request.
Conduct:Our employees do not smoke, eat or drink while in your home, nor do they watch T.V. or play the radio. They do not answer the phone or the doorbell. They are there for only one reason, to clean your home.
Equipment and Supplies:
We provide our own vacuums, equipment and cleaning supplies. Please do not pre-treat bathrooms with Tilex or any bleach products prior to team's arrival.
Holidays:
The legal holidays involving Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are days we do not work. Should your regular cleaning schedule fall on these days, please call the office well in advance should you wish to establish a substitute cleaning day to accommodate the holiday. Being that we do honor special occasion service, we do have staff available on these legal holidays upon a special request.

Keys:
Please make sure your home is accessible to us. Most of our customers provide us with a key. Each key is numbered. Keys are maintained in a locked box except for days of cleaning. Returned keys will require identification at time of release.
Tipping:
Household Helping Hands never requires tipping, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your service provider. Remember your appreciation need not be monetary. A personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.
No Solicitation:
Our cleaning and lawn care staff are subject to non-compete agreement and are liable for monies made, attorney fees and cost should they clean your home outside or service agreement. Should you use the services of HHH, you agree to make arrangements whereby you directly employ the services of a HHH cleaning and lawn care staff directly through management and not through an employee of Household Helping Hands. In the event you breach this provision, you agree to pay Household Helping Hands a $5,000.00 placement fee and all attorney fees incurred by HHH in enforcing this agreement.
